General information

A project supporting candidates who undertake studies in Polish. It includes Polish language workshops, lectures on Polish culture and history, tours of our city and region. The course aims to improve the language skills of foreign youth and provide a set of practical information useful in daily life.

Polish language courses will be offered at all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Recruitment for specific groups will be based on passing a test that verifies the level of Polish language proficiency, allowing participants to be assigned to the appropriate groups. The classes will be conducted by a team of qualified specialists, employees of the Faculty of Philology, who will prepare interesting classes for you using the latest materials. Over 3 weeks, you will undergo 70 hours of grammar, reading, writing, dialogue practice, listening to texts, watching films, and other exercises necessary for faster and more effective learning of Polish. The classes will be combined with tours of the most interesting places in the Opole region, engaging games, and other attractions.

 

Details

  • Duration: from 07.09.2024 to 30.09.2024
  • Schedule and format: 80 hours of classroom lessons, 20 hours of thematic workshops and training, visits to museums, cinema, theater, philharmonic, zoo, and tours of the region.
  • Application deadline:09.08.2024
  • Course fee: 2,600 PLN. The cost includes Polish language lessons, specialized workshops and training, accommodation in a dormitory, lunch (excluding Saturday and Sunday), and all entrance tickets.
  • Teaching staff: Qualified teaching staff, employees of the Faculty of Philology, University of Opole.
  • Accommodation: "Mrowisko" Student House, 2/3-person rooms.
